Twin Size Bed Quilt

Description

This is an intermediate-level class, and will be taught on Wednesday afternoons. Students will complete a quilt start to finish:

• Week 1: Learning about Quilts (Piecing, basting, quilting, binding) and Begin Piecing
• Week 2: Continue Piecing
• Week 3: Continue Piecing
• Week 4: Continue Piecing
• Week 5: Continue Piecing
• Week 6: Basting and Marking for Quilting
• Week 7: Quilting (Students 1 & 2)*
• Week 8: Quilting (Students 3 & 4)*
• Week 9: Binding

The students will get to make a twin size quilt start to finish. They will learn everything that goes into making a quilt. Piecing, Basting, Quilting and Binding. They will need to purchase the fabric for the front, back and binding. I will provide all supplies, thread and batting.

The date/time options for this class will be:

• Wednesdays 5:15-6:15 PM – March 13, 20 & April 3, 10, 17, 24, & May 1*, 8*, 15

*Students will attend one of these days, as we will have them quilt their quilts only 2 students at a time, rather than 4, as it requires more help and space.

Cost for the Beginning Quilting  is $120, and includes all supplies except for the fabric. Each student will supply fabric for the quilt front, back and binding. If you sign up for the class, I will send you an email with instructions on how much fabric you will need.
