Drawstring Backpack & First Aid Pouch

Description

This is an intermediate-level class.

• Day 1: Begin Backpack Construction
• Day 2: Finish Backpack
• Day 3: Construct Pouch

After the two lessons, students will have practiced the following skills: create a lining, boxing corners, making a casing, inserting a zipper, sewing on vinyl.

All fabric, notions and thread provided.

The students will get to make a backpack start to finish. They will also get to make a small zipper pouch for first aid supplies.

I will supply all the fabric and notions. Students will not need to supply anything for this project.
